Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Flow of time and chess - a surreal painting’ by artefacti

This impressive work of art represents a fusion of chess and flowing time, which combine to create a unique surreal experience. A large clock, placed in the background and seemingly in the process of melting, dominates the picture, while its hands appear to stand almost still. In front of it, a figure that seems to be growing out of the liquid substance appears to be directing time itself in a theatrical gesture. Chess pieces, trapped in this timeless bubble, are lifted into the air by the same liquid force and float in the light of a setting or rising sun. The white and black squares of the chessboard reflect the play of light and shadow, emphasising the contrast between the real world and the world of the imagination. The artwork represents a place where time, physics and the laws of nature are subordinate to the artist's wishes.
