Flexibility – adapting to new situations with ease by Renate Sell

Inspiration & Creation: The piece originated from one of my own drawings and was subsequently coloured in intuitively and with great sensitivity. The inspiration came from a desire to imbue the theme of flexibility with a friendly, childlike lightness. Here, flexibility does not mean adapting out of necessity, but rather a free, creative way of going with the flow of life. The vibrant colours and dynamic shapes reflect precisely this feeling – a playful exploration, a courageous transformation and a loving going with the flow. Atmosphere & Effect: The image conveys a light, buoyant and cheerful mood. It invites you to let go of rigid thoughts and entrust yourself to the flow of life. The message is: You are allowed to change. You are allowed to explore new paths. And you are allowed to feel joy in doing so. Meaning & Distinctive feature: ‘Flexibility’ is depicted here as a living force. Each letter moves in its own way – and yet a harmonious whole emerges. This is precisely where the deeper meaning lies: diversity and movement can exist in harmony. The combination of clear lines and soft, flowing colours lends the work a special vitality. It is evident that this image emerged from a creative, free process. Effect in the room: This artwork brings movement and lightness to any room. It is particularly well suited to creative environments, children’s rooms, workspaces or anywhere where openness and new ideas are welcomed. It appeals to people who wish to develop further, who see life as a process of change and who take pleasure in discovering new paths.
