About "Fjord horses in the early light"

About the artwork

On an early spring day, in the Netherlands, this picture was taken on the extraordinary sandy plain the Sahara in Ommen. In the soft light of the rising sun, two fjord horses stand peacefully side by side. Their strong, rounded forms stand out against the pastel-coloured sky, which fills the landscape with a warm glow.

The fjord is a primal and friendly horse, known for its robust build and calm nature. In this picture, the pair radiate calm and connectedness, like two sentinels of silence. The nature around them is silent, empty and open - a rare moment of pure balance between animal and environment.

The Sahara in Ommen, a unique piece of Dutch nature, offers an almost surreal backdrop with its undulating sands and scattered trees. Here, time seems to stand still for a moment. The warm hues of the sunrise mix with the soft colours of the sand, giving an almost picturesque effect.

This picture invites us to stand still, look and feel. It reminds us of the simplicity of being outside, of the power of the horse, and of how nature in all its silence can touch deeply.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
