The Fjadrargljufur (Fjaðrárgljúfur) is considered by many to be the most beautiful green gorge in southern Iceland, near the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The small Fjaðrá river flows through this gorge and flows into the Skaftá river a little further.
