Their pêcheries, the characteristic fishing huts of the French west coast, are waiting for the water to rise again so they can lower their large nets.
This photo of Fisherman's Huts along the French Coast was taken in the Charente-Maritime region on a clear and warm day at the end of summer. The light was soft, the sky a brilliant blue, and the water almost still. To emphasize this tranquility, I used a long shutter speed, giving the water a smooth surface and allowing the fishermen's huts to stand quietly in the frame.
