About ‘Minimalist coastal landscape with fishing nets’ by Sander Poppe

A peculiar silence hung over the coast near Stellendam that evening. The sun was slowly sinking towards the horizon and the water was becoming increasingly still. Due to the long exposure time, the North Sea was transformed into a smooth surface in which sky and water almost merged.

On the horizon, the fishing nets stand as silent silhouettes against the landscape. They speak of the maritime character of this area, without being overly prominent. It was precisely that simplicity that appealed to me when I took this photograph.

The soft colours of the evening sky were reflected in the water, creating a subtle interplay of blue, yellow and orange. This gave the whole scene a tranquil and almost timeless feel.

This minimalist waterscape is all about space, the horizon and tranquillity. The open composition gives the eye the freedom to wander through the image, making it a photograph in which you discover something new every time you look at it. Thanks to its calm colours and simple forms, it fits well into an interior where light, tranquillity and balance are key.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
