About ‘Fished out of the moat 2’ by Joes van Asten
Every year, 15,000 bicycles disappear in Amsterdam's canals. By the municipality and by magnet fishermen, they are re-fished and sold as scrap metal.
This photo shows two bicycles, full of dredge, that have just been fished out of the Vijzelgracht canal.
The photo in black and white and in portrait format.
