Joshua Hoskins grew up in Southern California and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2004. In 2017, he moved to Berlin, where his studio is currently located. His creative process is based on the idea that the meaning of an artwork is unknown until it is engaged with by a viewer.
