About the artwork

This photo was taken in the narrow colourful streets of the Italian town of Malcesine on Lake Garda. It was early in the morning and there were no tourists yet. It was great wandering and photographing that morning. The streets of Malcesine are photogenic enough on their own but the orange Fiat 500 parked there completed the picture.

Malcesine is a picturesque town on the eastern shore of Lake Garda in Italy, known for its narrow streets, medieval charm and the imposing Castello Scaligero. The castle offers stunning views over the lake and surrounding mountains. Malcesine is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, hikers and nature lovers thanks to its proximity to Monte Baldo, accessible by cable car. With its colourful houses and atmospheric squares, Malcesine is an ideal place for relaxation and culture on Lake Garda.

The Fiat 500, often called the "Cinquecento", is an iconic symbol of Italian culture and automotive history. Introduced in 1957, this compact car was designed as an affordable and practical means of transport for the Italian population. Its small, rounded design made the Fiat 500 perfect for the narrow streets of Italian cities. With its charming appearance and distinctive sunroof, it quickly became loved by both young and old. The Fiat 500 became a symbol of the Italian "Dolce Vita" in the 1960s. Today, the classic 500 is a much-loved vintage car, evoking nostalgia and Italian flair.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
