The Fiat pike in the carp pond of the new middle class in the 60s!
Many of them had enough of either the two-wheeler or the mini-vans and the families have grown in times of the baby boom. However, the Fiat 1500 was no longer a baby boomer, because Fiat has always been well represented in the middle class!
With the designation Fiat 1500 there were altogether 3 vehicles. The first model was built between 1935 and 1950. The 2nd model as I photographed it was first available in 1961 and was called Fiat 1300 or Fiat 1500, depending on the engine size. From 1963 there was a larger model, the Fiat 1500 L, which was originally designed only for taxi drivers. Furthermore, there was also a Fiat 1500 convertible (1963-1967), which is not only rare, but in some cases has already exceeded 30,000 Euros as a well preserved classic car. In addition, the Fiat 1500 Familiare (1961-1964) as a station wagon. And then there is the Coupe, which, like the convertible, was also designed by Pininfarina.
