About the artwork

Deeper into the forest of Posbank are the ferns. The light of the rising sun wriggles through the trees.
The morning light gives the feeling of a fairytale forest. This is the lesser-known side of the Posbank nature reserve near Arnhem.

Most visitors visit the heathland, but a few metres further on, the forest begins where a true spectacle occurs on the early morning.

As a visitor, you can find inspiration and relax here before the many visitors to this popular destination explore the hiking trails. Just after sunrise when it is still quiet. Flora and Fauna still awakening you only come across the occasional photographer.

A place to go if you want to reflect on your life. When you seek a way forward and vision. Or when you want to connect with your inner self.

The peace and quiet of nature just outside the big city. The Veluwe and Veluwe are hilly areas that are much known for their heathland. However, the forest is also beautiful. It is national park where if you are quiet and early you can still see many animals like deer and wild boar. You can also tag along with the forest ranger to increase those chances a little. The park is open between sunrise and sunset. If you want the park to yourself that summer morning is perfect. Few people are willing to roll out of bed that early.
