On the shores of Fellsfjara, better known as Diamond Beach, lies an imposing chunk of blue ice caught among the surf. This black sand beach, dotted with glistening chunks of ice originating from the Breiðamerkurjökull, offers a spectacular sight.
The waves pound continuously on the ice masses, while dusk casts a golden glow over the horizon. The blue ice captures the last light of the day, as if shining from within. At Fellsfjara, water, sand, and ice meet in a timeless interplay of forces that continues to enchant visitors from all over the world.
