About "Feet fetish"

About the artwork

These imposing legs belong to an ostrich, the largest and fastest animal on two legs. Ostriches have a unique anatomy that allows them to reach speeds of up to 70 km/h, an essential feature in the open savannah where predators such as lions and cheetah's lurk.

What is immediately noticeable is that ostriches have only two toes per leg-a rarity in the bird world. The larger toe has a powerful, sharp nail that can serve as a kind of weapon, while the smaller toe helps with stability while running. These sturdy, scaly legs are designed to absorb shock and offer incredible strength with every step.

Ostriches use their legs not only to flee, but also to defend themselves. A well-aimed kick can seriously injure or even kill a predator. Yet they usually prefer running away to fighting-after all, their speed is their biggest survival mechanism.

This picture captures not only the robustness of the ostrich, but also the evolution of an animal fully adapted to life on the vast, dry plains of Africa.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
