About "Farewell flight F16 Fighting Falcon over Breda"

About the artwork

On Friday 27 September 2024, the Dutch Royal Air Force officially bid farewell to the F16 Fighting Falcon. It did so by carrying out a farewell flight over the Netherlands. Breda was also on the route.

I had this image of Breda's Grote Kerk showing the F16s during their farewell flight in mind. I walked to the top floor of a residential complex and was standing there when I got the message that the route was changed due to bad weather. I had already heard the F16s in the distance, but was told they would fly via Gilze-Rijen straight back to Volkel. So I was about to go back inside when I did hear something approaching. Apparently, they flew to Woensdrecht after all and then over Breda to Gilze-Rijen and Volkel. Lucky me!

I immediately pointed the camera and was able to shoot this special and probably unique image.

The picture was taken from one of the flats in the Schorsmolen district, where you have a great view of the Grote Kerk on the top floor.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
