This beautiful railway station has already shone as a location for films such as the mafia epic "The Godfather" and the diving film "Into the Deep".
Taormina-Giardini Naxos railway station is one of the main stations on the Messina-Catania line. The station was inaugurated in 1866 and is housed in a remarkable Art Nouveau building consisting of a two-storey main building flanked by two side wings.
I discovered this wonderful, historic train station during my autumn photo trip on the east coast of Sicily on 27 October 2024.
The photo was taken with the NIKON D800 camera (lens: NIKKOR 24.0-70.0 mm f/2.8).

The railway station motif is a real classic for modern and classic architectural offices.
