About "Facades in the Alfama - Beautiful Lisbon"

About the artwork

This special portrait format image shows the charming, morbid beauty of a narrow building façade in the historic Alfama neighbourhood in Lisbon. With its sandstone-like colour, the façade is reminiscent of the bygone splendour of days gone by and is characterised by the authentic atmosphere of this picturesque area. At the bottom of the building is a small mini-market, whose everyday scene is complemented by a construction worker relaxing and enjoying his after-work beer.

Another highlight of the picture is the typical wrought-iron lantern, which is attached to the wall of the house and gives the scene its unmistakable charm. On the first floor, fresh laundry hangs on a line, as is traditional in Alfama - a sign of the lively everyday life in the narrow streets of this neighbourhood. This motif combines an authentic Portuguese way of life with nostalgic flair and is ideal for lovers of cityscapes and southern European culture.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
