This is the Eye film museum on the IJ-shore in Amsterdam North, as seen from the other side, so from the city quay at Central Station. Eye film museum is the white building in the shape of an eye. People do say that it represents an eye. Eye's objective is to preserve the film heritage for future generations, both Dutch films and foreign films that have been screened in the Netherlands. The museum wants to promote a lively film culture in the Netherlands
The tower to the right of Eye is the A'dam Tower. That was originally Toren Overhoeks and owned by Shell, but now contains offices, nightlife and on top, a rotating restaurant.
