In summer, the flowers in my garden are in full bloom. All kinds of cheerful colors splash out at you. Yet not every flower blooms at the same time. In this collage I have brought together different photos of flowers from various summer months.
The bouquet in the vase draws the attention first, although the red vase is certainly an eye-catcher as well. But there is much more to see. At the bottom of the image, in the grass, a seagull is somewhat sleepily huddled together. I took the photo of this seagull in Le Mont-Saint-Michel (FR). Yet it looks like she is looking intently at the two green protrusions in front of her. You may not believe it, but those are two bright green frogs!
Hanging from a thin stick leaning against the vase is a golden round, which is a small snail. To the right of the red vase you see a pile of stones. These are from a beach in Wales, all carried along in the backpack.
To the right in the background are three identical red vases, each containing a beautiful yellow sunflower. There are also two black chickens scurrying around. The photo of the chickens I took at home, in Chaugey, when we still had chickens of our own. The trio in the background gives the picture depth.
In the far upper left corner, a kite hovers, looking for a tasty snack in the grass.
Next to sunflowers you see pansies, daisies, blossoms, poppies, cosmos, and at the very bottom, ón the red vase, a piece of a tulip.
The red vase was a design by Rubbish Design.
