A hushed evening at the Oesterput near Colijnsplaat on North Beveland, captured around sunset. The water was high and mirror-smooth, and the sky above the old working harbour coloured in warm hues that reflected beautifully in the still surface. In the foreground, a few blades of grass break through the water, subtle and natural, like an echo of the life still present here.
The Oyster Pit is a former working harbour that has now largely silted up and is no longer in use. What remains is a paradise for birds and photographers alike: a place where tranquillity, nature and history come together. In the soft evening light, this forgotten corner of Zeeland transforms into a poetic landscape full of reflection and stillness.
