I went to the Belgian Ardennes for a weekend of photography. The weeks before, I had been orienting a bit about what and where I wanted to photograph. I thought it would be nice to go to Dinant and photograph the church with the mountain behind it from the bank when there would be a nice reflection in the water. The closer I got to my weekend trip, the better the weather forecast would get, little wind was expected so more chance of a nice reflection. The day I went to Dinant, the wind was also barely blowing so I was hopeful. When I arrived at the location in Dinant, it was a setback, the water was moving quite a bit because of all the boats sailing there. I first walked to a boat rental company and asked until what time they rented the boats and he told me the last ones would be back at 8 o'clock. The sun set at 9.30pm so I had quiet hopes that there would still be a nice reflection in the water around sunset. The further towards sunset the more the reflection came into the water, I really thought this was an amazing sight and am glad I was able to capture it like this. A topper for your wall!
