About the artwork

"Eul doch, statt heul doch" is a provocative call for us to take active action instead of passive complaining. It asks us to detach ourselves from our emotions and take charge of our problems. The image of a crying owl in the forest illustrates this message in a special way. Owls are known for their wisdom and ability to solve problems. However, a crying owl in the forest represents sadness and complaining about problems that cannot be solved. "Cry instead of howl" is an invitation to break away from this passivity and become active. It means that we should take responsibility for our lives and circumstances and not let our emotions get the better of us. It is a reminder that we have the potential to change things and improve our lives if we choose to do so. However, the provocation "Eul doch, anstatt heul doch" is not meant to discourage us or lead us into a wrong attitude. Rather, it is meant to spur us to motivate and inspire ourselves, and to encourage us to take action and tackle problems. Ultimately, the message behind "Eul doch, anstatt heul doch" is a positive and inspiring one. It asks us to empower ourselves and actively work for a better future. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
