About ‘Erkens Barneveld’ by Veluws

een goed glas wijn moet je bij Erkens zijn"
In 1870 is mijn overgrootvader begonnen met de verkoop van alcoholische dranken hier, in het huidige pand, aan de Langstraat in Barneveld. Ruim 90 jaar lang , tot 1960, was dit in combinatie met een café.
Na enkele jaren voor een wijnhandel in Limburg gewerkt te hebben en een jaar bij verschillende wijnboeren in het buitenland, nam mijn vader in 1960 de zaak over van opa. De deuren van het cafe werden gesloten en hij ging verder als slijter - wijnhandelaar. In de beginjaren lag het accent vooral op de verkoop van gedistilleerd. Na een aantal jaren was er echter sprake van een toenemende belangstelling voor wijn. Door zijn werkervaring en liefde voor de wijn wist mijn vader hier prima op in te spelen en de zo ontstond al snel de reputatie : "voor een goed glas wijn moet je bij Erkens zijn".
Deze reputatie willen wij nog elke dag waar maken. Wijn is ook onze grootste passie en we weten waar we het over hebben. Alle wijnen worden door ons zelf geproefd / geselecteerd waarbij kwaliteit zwaarder weegt dan de prijs. Zoeken naar het beste glas wijn in zijn prijsklasse, dat is onze uitdaging.
Regelmatig versturen wij informatie over nieuwe wijnen een aanbiedingen per mail. U kunt zich hier aanmelden voor deze nieuwsbrief.
Naast wijn kunt u bij ons ook nog altijd terecht voor een goed glas gedistilleerd. Een oude jenever, Franse cognac, malt whisky of grappa. We hebben een breed assortiment van veelal kleinere distilleerd

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
