Erfurt Cathedral Square is one of the largest and most historic squares in Germany. It is located in the heart of the Thuringian capital and is surrounded by important buildings such as Erfurt Cathedral, the Severi Church and numerous town houses. The half-timbered façades reflect the city's long architectural history and still characterise the cityscape today.
My inspiration for this picture was the combination of past and present. I didn't want to show the square as an empty backdrop, but as a lively place where everyday life and history meet.
The atmosphere is deliberately kept open and authentic - a moment from city life that conveys calm and movement at the same time.
In the interior design, this work brings colour, structure and a touch of urban history to the space - ideal for people with a connection to Erfurt or a soft spot for European old towns.
