About the artwork

In the quiet splendour of a golden morning, Buddha Gautama sits enthroned, majestic and calm, in the Bhumispara mudra - the gesture with which he calls the earth to witness his enlightenment. It is the moment when suffering is overcome, desire is vanquished and truth is recognised. His gaze is gentle, his smile timeless - an invitation to inner contemplation.
Smaller, standing Buddha figures are lined up in front of him, each of them with their right hand raised in the Abhaya mudra - an ancient symbol of protection, fearlessness and peace. Together they form a sacred ensemble of light, stillness and compassion. Gold shines on gold, an expression of deep reverence and spiritual connection.
The temple Wat Prayurawongsawas Waravihan in Bangkok - called Wat Prayun - becomes a place beyond space and time through these depictions. Crystal chandeliers cast sparkling reflections on the gilded body of Buddha, while the scent of incense mingles with reverent whispers.
It is a place of awakening, where every detail - from the ornately decorated plinths to the silent gesture of the hand - tells stories: of courage, wisdom and the path to liberation. Whoever lingers here becomes silent. And in the silence, perhaps your own awakening begins.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
