About the artwork

Here, in the beautiful Twickel estate, the Oelerbeek meanders its way through a typical Twents landscape. A landscape that takes you to a timeless place where the charm of the past can still be felt.

The Oelerbeek, a babbling brook that finds its way between the rolling green meadows, is the centrepiece of this enchanting scene. The stream meanders elegantly through the landscape, taking you on a soothing journey. And there, in the meandering curve of the stream, is a dilapidated cottage that rises like a silent witness from the past.

This dilapidated cottage adds a touch of mystery and nostalgia to the scene. It seems like a timeless reminder of days gone by, when this cottage was once a home for people who lived their lives along the Oeler stream. Now it stands there, enveloped in the tranquillity of nature, as a silent witness to the passing of time.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
