Elements of Pastel Colours – Abstract Pastel Art with a Spinning Circle and Flowing Lines by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

The composition appears to feature a large circular shape coming to the fore, whilst dozens of curved lines flow outwards around it in a swirling motion. This creates a strong sense of depth, speed and movement.

The central element consists of subtle shades of lilac, light blue, sage green, soft yellow and white. Around the circle, the colours blend seamlessly into one another. In particular, the soft lilac and violet on the left and at the bottom, the fresh blue and green around the centre, and the pale pink shades on the right give the work a distinct pastel character.

The swirling lines create an almost hypnotic effect. It feels as though you are being drawn into an abstract vortex, a spinning planet or a colourful dimension. At the same time, the image remains light and refined through the use of soft colours and transparent, almost luminous lines.

The artwork originated from a photograph and has been digitally edited using a technique known as ‘twirl’, transforming the original elements into a completely new abstract composition. The combination of photography and digital editing gives the work a particularly fluid and organic character.

‘Elements of Pastel Colours’ is ideal as modern wall art for a living room, bedroom, office, practice room or creative workspace. It blends beautifully into a modern, Scandinavian, soft and colourful or contemporary interior.

A colourful and soothing abstract composition for lovers of pastel art, abstract art, swirling shapes, circular art and dreamy digital art.
