About ‘Eierland lighthouse, Texel’ by Raoul Baart
View across the beach of Texel, with in the distance lighthouse "Eierland" at the northernmost tip of the island. Built from 1863 and with a height of almost 35 metres, it is a well-known beacon for ships on both the Wadden Sea as well as the North Sea and for many people the symbol of the island of Texel.
