Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Dwarf - ornamentation on a Gründerzeit house’ by Thomas Bugdoll

In the so-called Wilhelminian period (middle / end of the 19th century)
the Renaissance style was copied in the production or construction of furniture, wallpaper, furnishings and buildings. This so-called Neo-Renaissance became the German national style, later known as the style of the "Gründerzeit". It was the time of growing industrialisation, when more and more new businesses were founded.
The prosperity of the bourgeoisie grew and the improved standard of living of the citizens was to become visible. Consequently, the building and furnishings were modelled on those of the nobility. Everything was to be as representative as possible and so the Renaissance style was copied by adding elaborate ornamentation. The houses of the industrialists were thus reminiscent of a nobleman's castle.
