About the artwork

The 80 x 80 cm painting, created with oil paint, is immersed in a mystical light that envelops the scene in an unreal ambience. Streams flow in the lower foreground of the painting, but they do not obey the laws of gravity. Instead, they are pushed to the sides by an inexplicable centrifugal force, creating a fascinating distortion of reality.

The outstanding feature of the painting is undoubtedly the spiral, which functions as the central motif. The spiral represents movement, change and transformation and captivates the viewer with its abstract form. It symbolises the ceaseless cycle of life and constant evolution.

In the central areas of the picture, fir trees stretching straight up on impassable slopes appear majestic. This gives the scene a spiritual dimension and underlines the connection between the natural world and the abstract form of the spiral.

The cloud sling in the upper centre of the painting creates a sense of dynamism and movement, as if the clouds themselves were involved in the spiralling cycle, or struggle. This emphasises the coherence and twist present throughout the scene.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
