When it starts to thaw after a Dutch frost period, there is something happening on the coasts again. The ice of lake and sea melts. This can lead to beautiful scenes with piled up ice at the North Sea coast, the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea. The ice block in the foreground has the shape of a triangle and guides you into the picture. In the clouds right above this floe, the triangle shape returns . In this way the ice landscape forms a beautiful and atmospheric whole with the clouds in the sky.
