Around the Frauenkirche in Dresden are old town houses in the baroque architectural style. The neighbourhood around the Frauenkirche was rebuilt in the early 2000s on the basis of the historic neighbourhood and plot sizes.

The Frauenkirche is a Protestant religious building on Neumarkt square in Dresden. The 91 metre high domed building was built between 1726 and 1743 by the city council by George Bähr. After its destruction in 1945, the Frauenkirche remained a ruin until it was rebuilt between 1993 and 2005.

Dresden is the capital of the Free State of Saxony. With around 570,000 inhabitants, Dresden is the second largest Saxon municipality after Leipzig and the twelfth largest city in Germany. The name Elbflorenz (also Florence of the North or Florence on the Elbe) became established as an epithet for the city of Dresden at the beginning of the 19th century. The title was originally intended to honour Dresden's art collections and its architecture.

In addition to the Frauenkirche, Dresden is home to a number of other world-famous sights, such as the Semper Opera House and the Zwinger Palace.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
