About "Dreams and Wonder"

About the artwork

This painting, for me, is a visual ode to childhood wonder and the boundless curiosity that lives within us all. It was inspired by my own memories of warm summer nights, lying awake, counting the stars and building impossible dreams in my mind. I sought to capture a young girl’s moment of quiet discovery—a fleeting, magical connection between the earth and the infinite sky above.
The deep midnight blue of the sky acts as a canvas of vast mystery, while the soft glow of warm yellows and oranges scattered as distant stars brings the scene to life. Her nightwear, painted in pastel pinks and purples, creates a sense of serenity and innocence, pulling the viewer into a world where dreams seem closer, almost tangible.
Through this piece, I aim to evoke nostalgia—a longing for the simplicity of stargazing nights that remind us of our own youthful hopes. It speaks of inspiration, encouraging viewers to pause, look upward, and hold on to the wonder of life’s smallest yet most profound moments. This is for the dreamers and the stargazers. Always reach. Always wonder.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
