Douglas DC-3 Dakota.
Registration: F-AZOX.
Built in May 1945, this aircraft was regularly used by the Queen of England. It features a VIP interior, which gives it a very special nostalgic charm.
The DC-3 started flying again on 31 October 2009 after more than eight years in Dinard, France.
Major repairs were carried out in the winter of 2009, including complete wing dismantling and corrosion treatment. In April 2010, the aircraft could take to the air again thanks to the association 'Un Dakota sur la Normandie' under the new registration: F-AZOX.
This photo was taken on 9 June 2019 during the airshow at Aérodrome de Cerny - La Ferté-Alais.
