About "Double World"

About the artwork

The depiction, with the planet Earth positioned near the horizon in the image and obscured by a striking cloud formation, creates a haunting tension between rising and setting. It proves challenging to determine whether the sun is rising and bathing the earth in light or whether it is setting and darkness is falling. This ambivalence creates a sense of mystery and uncertainty.

This surreal scene can be seen metaphorically as an expression of the complexity of reality and the difficulties of human perception. We often view the world only from our limited perspective and are not always able to grasp contradictory phenomena in their full depth. This underlines the fact that our senses and our perception can sometimes deceive us.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
