The asymmetric double helix has 5 arms and 8 perpendicular arms. The 5 arms are clearly perceptible by following the (e.g. orange) fish swimming one after the other. The 8 arms can be counted by choosing a suitable orange fish, moving 8 orange fish forward and then perpendicularly 5 orange fish up/down (via the pink fish), to finally return to the chosen fish.
