This photo shows the Prince Claus Bridge in Dordrecht in an unusual way, taken from the middle of the bridge.
From this viewpoint, it is hard to imagine that this is a bridge, but I find the photo interesting because of its very unusual angle. This gives you an image that raises questions. What is this, this is precisely the intended image I had in mind. The viewer is made to think. Because of the abstract image, this photo will fit well in a somewhat industrial or sleek and modern interior. Because the bridge is asymmetrical in the photo, a nice interplay of lines is created and the whole looks sleek and artistic. The photo was taken during the blue hour, but on a drizzly day. The threatening sky in the background makes the bridge stand out even more because of the nice contrasts.

The sleek shapes of the bridge are shown off to their best advantage in this photo. The Prins Claus bridge connects new-build district Stadswerven with the historic centre of Dordrecht and was completed in October 2021.
The 140-metre-long bicycle and pedestrian bridge is a bascule bridge with a rotating ballast pylon over the Wantij.
