About the artwork

Located in northeastern Italy, the Dolomites are one of the most spectacular mountain ranges in the Alps and are known for their rugged peaks, vast valleys, and picturesque landscapes. These mountains, formed by unique dolomite rocks, give the area an almost magical appearance, especially during sunrise and sunset when the rocks light up in brilliant hues of pink and orange
Nature in the Dolomites is extremely varied, with a wealth of flora and fauna that has adapted to the mountainous terrain and changing climate. Dense forests of pine, larch and fir can be found in the lower areas
Besides the rich animal life, water is an essential element of the landscape. Crystal-clear mountain lakes, such as the iconic Lago di Braies and Lago di Carezza, reflect the surrounding peaks and forests, making the Dolomites a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. Streams and waterfalls, fed by melting snow and glaciers, meander through the valleys, creating a soothing background sound.
Nature in the Dolomites is an enchanting interplay of majestic peaks, serene lakes, lush forests and an abundance of wildlife. It is a place where tranquillity meets adventure, and where the pristine beauty of the Alps amazes every visitor.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
