Beach of dishoek, zeeland.
Dishoek (Zeeland: Disoek) is a village on the Westerschelde estuary in the municipality of Veere, in the Dutch province of Zeeland. The village, located between Zoutelande and Vlissingen, has about 225 inhabitants (2011), but consists mainly of temporarily occupied holiday homes. The village originated as a hamlet of Koudekerke; officially it is counted as part of the town of Koudekerke. Nevertheless, mainly thanks to tourism, Dishoek has increasingly become a real village in the 20th century.
