Dinant is a city and municipality in the Belgian province of Namur. The city lies on the river Meuse.
The Dinant Cable Car from 1956, renovated in 1997, connects the city centre with the citadel and has a height difference of some 150m. The Collegiate Church of Our Lady of Dinant in the Belgian city of Dinant is a 13th-century collegiate church. It is an example of Meuse Gothic in the Principality of Liège. The building is built entirely of Dinant's grey limestone.
