During my tours of America, everything revolves around one thing: pure, rugged nature. From vast deserts to snow-capped peaks, misty forests, volcanic plains and endless coastlines-each region has its own energy, smell, sound and colour palette. I can't get tired of the variety of landscapes and the way the earth shows its power here. Think storm clouds over the prairie, geysers erupting into silence, or a herd of moose suddenly appearing from the thicket.
It is precisely these pristine places, where you don't encounter anyone for hours and everything revolves around the elements, that continue to attract me. Wildlife spotting here is done on their terms, not mine-and that's the way it should be.
Travelling across America is not a to-do list ticking off for me, but a constant wonderment. At how small we really are, and how big the world still feels if you really dare to look.
