About ‘Descending tide on the Frisian Wadden Sea coast’ by Remco de Vries
This is at It Skoar. An area outside the dike with a summer polder, small salt marsh and many rows of poles. At the very end of the pier are these. I photographed them low over the water from a tripod in very nice evening light with my boots in the Wadden Sea.

I grew up on and near the water in Fryslân and also found my work there as an editor/reporter for regional public broadcaster Omrop Fryslân. First only for radio, but later also for TV and internet.
