This is at It Skoar. An area outside the dike with a summer polder, small salt marsh and many rows of poles. At the very end of the pier are these. I photographed them low over the water from a tripod in very nice evening light with my boots in the Wadden Sea.

I grew up on and near the water in Fryslân and also found my work there as an editor/reporter for regional public broadcaster Omrop Fryslân. First only for radio, but later also for TV and internet. I do this work with an extra focus on nature and therefore regularly visit very special places. Ever since I was young, I have loved the Wadden Sea and I can often be found on the Frisian coast.
