Beyond the asphalt of the sea dyke, the summer polder of it Skoar begins. This small area below Ternaard is still in use by a farmer. In autumn and winter, the birds have the place all to themselves. You won't actually find any tourists here. They quickly take the ferry to the other side where Ameland awaits them.
