Delicate tenderness: droplets adorn the fluffy seeds of a dandelion

by Marjolijn van den Berg

"Fragiele tederheid: druppeltjes decoreren de pluisjes van een Paardenbloem" This is a macro photograph of a small section of a dandelion seed head. Tiny droplets of water cling to the seeds. These droplets create a stunning decoration for the seeds.
The colour in the background feels very natural; I would describe it as a lovely warm olive green. This colour ensures that the fluff with water droplets stands out beautifully in the foreground.
The focus in this photo is on the transition from the stems to the fluff of the two dandelions. From there, everything in front of and behind this section gradually fades. This creates a sense of calm in the photo and, at the same time, gives a feeling of depth to the work. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see this clearly!
Thanks to the simplicity of this photo, it would look excellent in a minimalist, biophilic or rustic interior, for example. This piece would look stunning as wall art in the bedroom on an ArtFrame above the bed, as wallpaper in the hall to create a beautiful entrance, or simply above the sofa in the living room on aluminium, for instance! It would also look lovely on the wall in a meeting room (business setting).
