I discovered this natural motif of wild grasses in symbiosis with mosses and microplants on the forest floor in the late morning hours in the tiny, medieval village of Léobard in the Occitanie region on 25 August 2017.
The photo was taken with the NIKON D90 camera (lens: SIGMA 18.0-70.0 mm f/3.5-4.5).
Léobard is a French commune with 224 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2022) in the department of Lot in the Occitanie region. It belongs to the arrondissement of Gourdon and the canton of the same name.
Neighbouring municipalities are Nabirat to the north-west, Payrignac to the north-east, Gourdon to the east, Dégagnac to the south-east, Salviac to the south-west and Saint-Aubin-de-Nabirat to the west.
