This picture was taken on an early summer morning in Münsterland. I waited a long time in my cover for the animals until after a while this young doe came running towards my camouflage tent. That deep look with the beady eyes is truly indescribable.
Deer are mainly active at dusk and at night. They can be seen more often in the early morning and late evening hours. They are also shy animals and normally avoid direct contact with humans. They usually flee in the event of danger. So this moment was very special for me.
