The leopard is a magnificent feline predator that is native to various regions of Africa and Asia. They have a striking, spotted coat that is arranged in rosette patterns. These spots serve as excellent camouflage in their habitat.
The base colour of the fur varies from pale yellow to reddish brown, while the belly tends to be white.
Leopards are medium-sized to large cats of prey. The body length is usually between 90 and 190 centimetres, plus a tail of around 60 to 110 centimetres. Leopards are opportunistic hunters and eat a variety of prey, including gazelles, wild boar, monkeys and even smaller antelopes.
