I saw this roe deer goat when on my way back from a game search, slowly and extremely vigilantly coming my way. She was in company with another roe deer and both were walking towards the field edge where all sorts of wildflowers were blooming. I quickly turned off the lights of my car, which was serving as a hide, and let it roll out onto the country lane, opened the window on the right side and did not move again. The deer went quietly in search of food until they caught sight of a hiker coming our way, see the pricked ears and head in that direction. Then the fun was over as the man approached, and they ran away hard. In the meantime, however, this photo had been taken. :-)
