De Kuip in all its glory by Anthony Malefijt

Experience the magic of Rotterdam when the sun sets and the city transforms into a sparkling light festival. This night-time shot captures the soul of the city on the Maas, where darkness gives way to a sea of dynamic points of light.

The eye-catcher in this landscape is the iconic football stadium 'De Kuip', home to Feijenoord Rotterdam football club, which towers above the city like a luminous beacon with its powerful floodlights. The stadium shines brightly in the distance, while city life continues quietly in the foreground. The many windows of the apartment complexes and offices create a playful pattern of lights, emphasising the density and vibrant character of Rotterdam. The water and the clean lines of the infrastructure in the centre of the image give the composition a beautiful rhythm, while the reflections on the water create a subtle, dreamy atmosphere.

This image is an ode to Rotterdam's nightlife and the city's unprecedented architectural diversity. Whether you love a cool urban vibe or are looking for a piece of art that brings the warmth of the city into your home, this photograph makes a powerful statement on the wall. It captures precisely that moment of tranquillity and energy for which Rotterdam is so well known.

Bring the Rotterdam night into your home. This print is perfectly rendered on glossy acrylic glass, giving the points of light and deep night colours an unprecedented depth.
