Tips for use

On a walk through my city Haarlem, took pictures and so now a few painted and drawn .
A drawing in East Indian ink of the windmill de Adriaan. The Adriaan is situated on the river Het Spaarne. The river goes straight through the city. There are still old houses around the mill that are now used as restaurants and where boats and tour…

From the Algarve to The Gambia

I have time to draw and paint more after years of volunteer work for the St. Care Foundation The Gambia. Inspiration I got in the Gambia where I also lived. The colors, the population and life is a great source of inspiration. But also the quieter life now is inspiring to use softer colours and to work more with pastel chalk. But still it's nice to work in all kinds of colours and to try out new techniques and new materials.
