Darts poster Het bord – world finals 1994–2026

by Sidney van den Boogaard

A dartboard as you know it, black, cream, red and green, but with 33 world finals in its segments. Every final from 1994 to 2026 has a wedge of its own: the world champion in the outer bed, the beaten finalist in the inner bed and the score in the treble ring. The closer the final, the further out that ring sits, so you tell a 7–6 from a 7–0 without reading. The four orange wedges are the Dutch titles: Van Barneveld in 2007, Van Gerwen in 2014, 2017 and 2019. You read the board clockwise, from Priestley at the top to Littler, and the name Taylor returning again and again tells you who ruled the sport for years. For anyone who watches every night in December and throws every week, above the oche or in the clubhouse bar.

This work is part of the Roll of Honour collection: sports history as a data print. Each print takes one sport and turns its whole roll of honour, from the first edition to today, into one graphic image, every name and number cross-checked against two independent sources.

Independent work, not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, federation, team or athlete; the data comes from Wikipedia and other public sources. A great gift for the fan who knows their sport's results by heart, for the living room, the study or the clubhouse.
